The highlight of my trip was standing on the platform of the Promontory Point as we sped through the Arkansas countryside at night seeing the flashing red lights and raising crossing gates as they disappeared in the dark of night. Something I will remember forever.

The trip exceeded my expectations. Rail traveling is a very relaxing way to travel and see the country. I would strongly recommend this to people who love to travel.

There are always enough vestibule windows for everyone to have a view of the countryside and enough lounge seats for everyone to enjoy the lounge at the same time.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Baltimore aboard the Promontory Point. Well-appointed staterooms (with private bath and shower), attentive service, excellent meals and a most genial host, plus an open air rear platform for viewing the scenery made it an extremely enjoyable trip.
I am looking forward to a future trip aboard the Promontory Point and recommend it most highly.

My experience on the Kentucky Derby train trip was one of the top 5 travels in my life. The cars were first class, we feasted while we were on the Train, loved the off-train trips we took (such as the wonderful horse farms) and our two days in the hospitality tent at the Derby, was a pure blast. I told myself that this would be a once in a lifetime trip, but after the greatness of this experience, I will be be doing it again soon! Thanks for the memories CBR!
